Structural Rod Assemblies Feeney Rod Assemblies are an attractive, high-strength, low- maintenance alternative to traditional steel rod and wire rope rigging systems made to your project specifications. Assemblies can be used in a variety of structural and decorative applications from glass curtain wall and door canopy supports, to guardrail balusters and trellis infill grids. ROD ASSEMBLY FEATURES • Assemblies are made to order according to project specifications • Available in 5/16″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ & 1″ diameters • Rod Connectors can be used to extend assembly to lengths over 12-feet • Easy to tension by spinning the Rod • LH and RH threaded Tension Forks maintain the symmetry of the Rod Assembly when tensioned • Shipped ready to install with Tef-Gel anti-seize on the threads
ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS • (1) Custom cut and threaded Rod, available in 5/16” - 1” diameters • (2) Tension Forks (LH/RH) with locking Conical Nut and Double Headed Pin • All components are made of Type 316 Stainless Steel OPTIONAL COMPONENTS • Isolation Washers (nylon) and • Isolation Sleeves (glass) for eliminating direct contact between Tension Forks and structural members • Rod connectors for extending assembly lengths beyond 12-ft
